Edonia
Harnessing microalgae to decarbonize food. This is the mission of Edonia, which has developed a unique technology enabling it to transform micro-algae into a textured super-ingredient. The resulting ingredient, which is highly palatable and minimally processed, is a nutrient-rich plant-based alternative (proteins, vitamins and minerals) for the agro-industrial and foodservice sectors. All with a drastically reduced carbon footprint. Asterion led the first round of Edonia in April 2024.
